Analytics consulting, data strategy, and KPI design for businesses that want clarity, not just numbers. No overhead, no middlemen, you work directly with the data scientist.
Deep-dive analysis of your business data; identifying trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities that spreadsheets alone can't surface. From focused one-off projects to ongoing advisory work.
A clear assessment of where your data capabilities stand today and a practical roadmap for where they need to go. No jargon, no vague frameworks, just a plan that fits your business size and budget.
Most businesses track the wrong things. I help you define the metrics that actually reflect business health, then build the systems to monitor them consistently and without manual effort.
Every engagement begins the same way, with a conversation. Reach out below, tell me what you're dealing with, and I'll come back to you within two business days with an honest assessment of whether and how I can help.
A few lines about your situation is enough. No pitch deck required.
I respond with questions or a proposal depending on how clear the brief is. Pricing is discussed at this stage.
Some projects start without one. Others benefit from a short call first. We decide together.
We talk through your data situation, goals, and constraints. No commitment, just clarity on whether I can help and how.
You receive a clear, fixed-scope proposal, what gets delivered, by when, and at what cost. No surprises.
Work begins with regular check-ins. As a solo operator, you work directly with me, no account managers, no juniors handed the work.
Deliverables come with documentation and a handover session. Ongoing support available as needed.
I'm Nazan Ozturk, the data scientist and strategist behind KI DataLab. With a background in industrial engineering, an MSc in data science, and a peer-reviewed publication to my name, I have spent 13 years working with data across six industries in professional environments.
I started KI DataLab because I kept seeing the same pattern: businesses sitting on valuable data, unsure what to do with it. My job is to close that gap, with rigorous analysis, practical tools, and communication that does not require a technical background to follow.
I work with a small number of clients at a time so every project gets my full attention. I also write regularly about data, analytics, and the tools I use, because after 13 years, this field still surprises me, and that is exactly why I stay in it.
